5240WYB is 0.40mm thick. The official 5200 series model with the same thickness is 5240PSB; the official PSB range covers 150-1100 μm (manufacturer 5200 series TDS).
5240WYB has 90° adhesion of 49.1 N/25mm, while the same-thickness official model 5240PSB is rated 50.8 N/25mm (representative values from the manufacturer's TDS, not guaranteed). The two are close, so selection depends on your substrate and design gap.
Yes. 5240WYB is supplied as roll goods and can be die-cut, punched, slit, re-reeled or laminated with release film. Send us your drawing for a sample first, especially for narrow widths and curved surfaces.
The manufacturer's 5200 series TDS states no UL94 or similar flame-retardant approval, so we make no flame-retardant claim for this series. Please ask about other models if flame retardancy is required.
Typical uses: fixing on uneven surfaces, waterproof and dustproof sealing, impact buffering and removable applications in electronics, appliances and automotive parts - also available die-cut to drawing.
