SEKISUI 5260PSB belongs to the Functional Foam Tape 5200PSB series — the specially waterproof type of the 5200 series functional foam tape. It uses an ultra-thin, independent-cell polyethylene foam as the substrate with acrylic adhesive on both sides, so it stays soft even at 0.60mm (600μm) and still delivers excellent impact absorption, water and dust sealing, and reliable adhesion on narrow widths.
Model number rule (official): 52 + thickness + adhesive type + foam substrate + color (B = black). So 5260PSB means 600μm (0.60mm) thickness, specially waterproof type, black foam.
Standard dimensions: 980mm wide, below 50m long. 90° adhesion to SUS plate is 52.3 N/25mm; holding power at 40℃ is 0.2mm. We supply die-cut parts, slitting and laminating (release film / PET carrier) to your drawing. Yes. 5260PSB is supplied as roll goods (980 mm wide, ≤50 m per roll) and can be die-cut, punched, slit, re-reeled or laminated with release film. Send us your drawing for a sample first.
The manufacturer's 5200 series TDS states no UL94 or similar flame-retardant approval, so we make no flame-retardant claim for this series. Please ask us about other models if flame retardancy is required.
It is the Specially waterproof of the 5200 series. Typical uses: fixing on uneven surfaces, waterproof and dustproof sealing, impact buffering and removable applications in electronics, appliances and automotive parts - also available die-cut to drawing.
